DEVELOPMENT

Discover more future screenplays I’m conceptualizing and get a glimpse into my creative thought process. I frequent philosophical theories, letting their ideas inform my work and expand my artistic expression. If you'd like to inquire more about them, reach out and lets talk!

Under the Sun and Moon also centralizes around the yin and yang concept. I'm very engaged with the concept of the push and pull of duality. Light and dark, life and death, love and hate- 2 sides of the same coin still operates on the same spectrum yet somehow creates profound depth and play. Its very integrated in everything I do as an artist as I see this duality everywhere. I am expanding this concept into a web series, with each episode exploring a different theme of the yin and yang.

YIN & YANG

If you are unfamiliar with the block universe theory, it theorizes that all of time is happening simultaneously - past, present, and future. As living beings, we currently experience time linearly. But if the world exists as a future already happened, the past as relived in the present - it fundamentally changes the nature of what is present. If you extend this theory into the multiverse, it expands the concept into a whole other realm of possibility. I am writing this into a feature to explore generation trauma and all the possibilities of the different version of familial love being relived through every timeline and generation.

BLOCK UNIVERSE

I've been creating my personal definition of love and have been analyzing it for the past few years. I've come to understand it as a noun- the state of being love itself, verb- the act of loving, and adjective- the experience of love as a feeling. Especially through the lens of attachment theory and emotional wounds, I'm writing a short film on relational dynamics of how the desire to be loved by others sometimes conflicts with self love.
