IN DEPTH PHOTO EXPLORATION

Olivia BacZ

Olivia explored dichotomy of the softness of femininity and it's sparkling beauty, clutched by the pearls of painful restrictions enforced by societal expectations of women. Olivia hoped to capture the price of beauty, a heavy burden associated with feminine roles.

Kevin Vilchis

Inspired by a journal entry I wrote in 2024, Kevin and I dedicated this project to the experience of heartbreak. Here is my exploration of the concept, you can go visit @kev.vilchis on instagram to see his version of the concept where I modeled for him.

Sara Vianna

Sara wanted to explore her relationship with femininity namely through the beautiful expressionistic style of Renaissance era painting style: baroque. The depictions of feminine softness yet drama struck cord with Sara, giving way to the art we created together.

Flowers

This a photoshoot inspired by a journal entry I wrote to commemorate the new year, specifically in relation beautiful things ending and the grief that comes with witnessing that. I attributed this metaphor to witnessing flowers growing and dying as the seasons pass as winter becomes too cold survive.

The photoshoot the started everything

This is my very first photoshoot I've ever done, I began this journey to share my artistic expression and it came with a desire to share whats in my heart and to do that with people - to witness the beauty that can be captured with a camera. What beautiful sights have I captured from then on.
