In a world where a red strings connect soulmates that only our lead can see, Sam has given up on love and resigned herself to a life of solitude; her second sight confirms her destiny as her string has cut short. Sam meets Ari at a house party, and immediately notices he has no string at all, putting into question her own nihilistic worldview. She becomes in the mood for limerence as her string tries to stretch towards a fate that speaks to no one but her delusions.
